Resources for Residents as Teachers

The University of Arizona College of Medicine works to prepare and support residents who supervise or teach and assess medical students. As part of this commitment, the Office of Medical Student Education annually develops and conducts a "Residents as Teachers" session at the new resident orientation in late June, in collaboration with the Office of Graduate Medical Education.  This page posts links to resources concerning the development and enhancement of resident teaching and assessment skills and practices.

If you would like to see additional resources or materials posted here, please contact Karen Spear Ellinwood, PhD, JD, EdS, Associate Specialist for Faculty Instructional Development, or Gail Pritchard, PhD, Interim Senior Learning Specialist, Resident Development.
